Founder and President

I am a student of Michigan State University Master of Arts in Foreign Language Teaching because I want to become a great Japanese language teacher。It has  been more than twenty years since I studied Japanese Language at Kansai Gaidai in Osaka and lived with a Japanese family as a foreign exchange student. Since that time, I have sought opportunities to maintain and improve my Japanese language skills to acquire greater fluency. Many thanks to my mentor, former teacher, and partner, Ms. Aki Moritani, whose review of this site page has resulted in the highly-skilled translation below, which is beyond my skill level at the time of this writing.

After working in corporate environments for over 30 years, I am finally able to focus solely on improving the experience of language learners of all ages and backgrounds. With a passion for literacy, bi-literacy, and multicultural learning, Seedtime has been created to engage learners in literacy, language and culture, emphasizing improving outcomes in underserved communities, where foreign language learning and teaching are low-to-no priority.  We endeavor to strengthen each learners’ access to communication and inclusion in a global society.
